Projects

At Forestal Sylvis, each Forest Management Unit represents a long-term commitment to productivity, environmental regeneration, and community development. These are the sites where our model is in full operation—where underutilized land becomes high-yield forest, and forest becomes shared value.

Environmental Impact

Paraguarí Unit

Located in one of Paraguay’s historically agricultural regions, our Paraguarí unit focuses on high-density eucalyptus cultivation combined with silvopastoral systems. It plays a key role in protecting the Cuenca del Ybycuí, a strategic water basin for the region. Our environmental work here includes buffer zones and reforestation corridors designed to preserve native biodiversity and strengthen water resources.

Caazapa Unit

Our Caazapá unit is closely linked to the region’s emerging bioindustry. It directly supplies raw material to Biocomplejo Petricor, a nearby plywood plant designed to process up to 50,000 m³ annually. This unit also anchors the Ecoforestry Fund I, developed in partnership with CADIEM, giving local investors the opportunity to participate in certified, sustainable forestry with measurable returns and impact.

Others

In addition to Paraguarí and Caazapá, Forestal Sylvis manages smaller, strategically positioned plots in other departments. These areas serve both productive and adaptive functions, helping us test new practices and expand capacity across diverse environments.

New opportunities are always growing

We’re expanding our model through Guaraní Plantations, a developing investment initiative built on the same principles of yield, impact, and transparency that define Forestal Sylvis.
