In food alone, the UAE imported USD 27 billion in 2024, while Paraguayan exports to that market reached just USD 23 million, only 0.08% of that total. It&#8217;s the gap Paraguay&#8217;s own trade ministry points to as the roadmap for what it hopes to build with the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the forestry sector, which currently accounts for USD 107 million in annual exports and 5,000 direct jobs in Paraguay, that same gap represents opportunity.
