At Forestal Sylvis, impact is part of the design. From the way we manage our land to how we engage with communities, every step is built to deliver real, measurable value—socially, environmentally, and economically. This page highlights how that value takes shape on the ground.
Social impact
Poverty Stoplight & Community Inclusion We implement Fundación Paraguaya’s Poverty Stoplight to work hand-in-hand with families, identifying and addressing key quality-of-life indicators. Every 100 hectares creates work for 10 families, with training in forestry and silvopastoral practices. Long-term partnerships with local communities ensure development stays embedded and evolving.
Environmental Impact
Carbon Capture & Ecosystem Regeneration Our eucalyptus plantations are designed to optimize carbon sequestration and renew degraded soils. Each hectare contributes to improved water retention, air quality, and biodiversity restoration. We protect strategic basins like the Cuenca del Ybycuí and implement a silvopastoral model that combines forestry and cattle responsibly.
We measure what matters.
Our impact is backed by globally recognized standards that ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term credibility.
Certification and Measurement
All new plantations are designed to meet FSC, VCS/Verra, and CCB standards.
Independent audits and third-party methodologies are integrated to track environmental and social performance over time.
Our commitment is not just to compliance, but to transparency and continual improvement.
